Homemaker Centre Investment Proposal

PUBLIC NOTICE OF MAJOR LAND TRANSACTION

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with, and following the process set out in the related Business Plan, the City of Karratha proposes to enter a Major Land Transaction to acquire and develop Lot 8 Corringer Avenue in the Gap Ridge Homemaker Centre, Karratha (corner Dampier Rd and Madigan Rd) for large format retail development.

A copy of the City’s Business Plan prepared under Section 3.59 of the Local Government Act 1995 is available for inspection at the City’s Welcome Road office during normal office hours up to and including 4th of April 2017. Submissions and comments on the Business Plan are welcome and should be made in writing and lodged with the undersigned on or before the 4th of April 2017. Please note “Lot 8 Gap Ridge Homemaker Centre” in the subject heading and email to economic@karratha.wa.gov.au.

The submissions or comments will be presented to Council at a future Ordinary Council Meeting for consideration and will inform Council’s decision-making on the matter.
