The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for two self-motivated and suitably experienced individuals seeking a rewarding role within its Waste, Fleet & Depot department. This position offers an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Site Attendant Operator is responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance and administration of the City’s Waste Disposal and Transfer Station Facilities.
Please note this position may be required to work weekends with days off to be scheduled during the week.
The successful candidate will possess:
- High school education or related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in waste management operations
- A current Manual HR Licence
- Demonstrated experience in the safe operation of heavy plant and/or tickets
- A National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in Landfill Operation (desirable)
- Knowledge of safe handling of asbestos (desirable)
- Experience in weighbridge operation (desirable)
