Hourly Rate: $45.1306 (including casual loading)

The City of Karratha is currently seeking passionate advocates of our wonderful region to join our Tourism Services team at the Karratha Tourism and Visitor Centre (KTVC). 

You will be responsible for providing accurate and relevant tourism information, promoting our region and local tourism operators and most importantly ensuring our tourists walk away feeling welcomed and excited.

You will have an authentic passion and excitement to develop tourism in our region as well as an understanding of the local area and a desire to share tourism experiences with our visitors.

Successful candidates will possess:  

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role or experience in a service position requiring a high level of contact with the public
• Current C class driver’s licence
• National (or Federal) Police Certificate no more than 6 months’ old

The KTVC operates adjusted hours depending on the season.  In peak season (April to October) the KTVC opens 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 2pm on weekends and public holidays. We are looking for people primarily that have availability for weekend work and the school holiday period.
