Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group

The Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group:

  • Provides advice to Council on disability, access and inclusion matters
  • Supports the implementation of the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2024–2029
  • Represents community perspectives and lived experience of disability
  • Promotes awareness and advocacy across the City

The Advisory Group consists of ten community members with lived experience of disability, carers, family members, and those working in disability support and advocacy.

While the Advisory Group is not a decision-making body, it provides valuable advice that informs the City’s planning and approach to disability access and inclusion, representing the views and priorities of the community.

Expressions of Interest for the group are open from 2 June – 19 June 2026. If you would like to nominate yourself, fill out the form on our What We Make It page.

Print forms are available in City Libraries and Administration, as well as alternative formats. Alternatively, contact the Community Development team on 9186 8555.
