Councillor Gillam is a long time local who has lived, worked and raised her family in Karratha. Her professional background is in government, mining, international trade and currently in regional economic development.
Cr Gillam is keen for Karratha to have the services and infrastructure required to be a thriving, connected and liveable city of the North West.
She is passionate about delivering innovative solutions that mitigate the challenges of living in the Pilbara and make life here a little easier, a little brighter and full of opportunity for our community.
